Set Up Check

Hi all, Happy new year.
I am replacing my tyres next week (VREDESTEINS)and now i have had the car 4 years tomorrow, (no problems whatsoever) i think it is time for a alignment check, i don't want to go to some one who just twiddles a few bits so who would you recommend to use in the south east please...Gordon

You have not checked the alignment in 4 years I would have hoped the service garage have been doing it for you, or it must be well out by now and a pig to drive. I have done mine every 6 months.

RG do it btw, around £150, or Str8Six, TopCats.

Hi Al, I have had no need to have it checked, it drives like a dream (even after 20,000 miles a few track days and 4 trips over the alps) but with new tyres being fitted (1st new set) i think it is due for a check, i must be a good driver as the pads dont even need changing yet..

If your under there while they do the alignment, you can see how easy it is for the geo to go out, nothing but the nuts and bolts holding the camber there, meaning if they loosen it can slip quite easily.

Anyway I'm sure it will feel more planted and enjoy using it. But give it more of a working if one set of pads has lasted 20000
