Can I charge the battery via the anderson connector?
Discussion
Hi all,
Noddy question I know. Flat battery after a couple of weeks of cold idleness. I have some jump leads with an anderson connector and wondered whether I can slip these under the garage door to a charger? Car is outside on account of junk...must sort it out!!
If this is a goer which charger would you recommend?
The pod display has also gone capput but not sure whether this is related or not as all other electrics such as door opening and internal light seem ok.
Cheers.

I have an accumate that came with the car from the previous owner. Must have accessory, together with the jump leads (although I would only use these in case of emergency, as jumpstarting the car is known to create other issues..). You should be able to find one in all the TVR parts shops, and they are not that expensive.
Used it this week, as I had the car garaged and covered for 3 weeks. Didnt even bother to take the cover off and see if it would start - just plugged it in for a couple of days.
You get an amber light when the charge is low, and then turns green when its fully charged. You can even leave it plugged in for as long as you don't move the car.
