friday the 13th will never be the same
bought myself a second british car (Landrover)
that's scary
glad my wife ownes a seat althea
happily it has a german built turbo diesel engine
but having 2 brit's means twice as much chance of a breakdown
will swear when it happens on this forum and wait for you all with a riot gun at zolder
knowing british cars it wont take that long
needed a bigger car because of my newly bought dog
they told me my dane would stay small
but it's growing
she's 4 month's old and allready 68 cm's
need a new front door (non british)

Ive owned a rotten old 1986 land rover for 5 years now, and my Tiv for 2 years.

Ive had a flat battery on both and a broken fan belt on the landy.

Needless to say in my experiance there as good as any other german built rubbish and i would nt swap them cause theres nothing better than a plucky Brit

My track record.

Rover Mini No faults over the 12 months of ownership

MR2 Cracked cylinder head

SZ Mkiv Supra Crack Pulley cracked and fell off (not fun at 70+)

RZ Mkiv Supra No faults

Tuscan Flat Battery

Mk2 Golf GTI Head Gasket blown, warn piston rings, leaking oil seal + a lot of electrical problems....sold car to a guy who refubs them as I couldnt see it scrapped.

So in my case the Brit cars have been the most reliable.

Not your lucky week: first the broken windscreen and now this...
What to do now? fit another engine?

lets open it up first
will be a blown headgasket or worse a cracked cilinder head
but this was the last malheure
cracked window, somebody bumped in my wifes seat and the blown engine
everything must be fine after 3 x bad luck
will win the jackpot on the lottery on queens day

ordered a new front screen,payed the guy that hit my car and repaired my landrover
yust to stay happy
bought myself a bowrider
yep

collecting it next week
anybody in need of something from holland
going to cross the channel in a few days
