Just got my Tuscan - a few early thoughts

Newbie here (apart from my post earlier this week). Hi to everyone on here. I'm in Newtown, Powys.
Collected my 2003 (53 plate) Tuscan S yesterday from Leeds and drove the 160 miles back home with no faults and didn't break down ! What a machine !
I've got a few initial questions so maybe someone can advise....
i) Chassis - proper inspection and cleaning. Something's been regularly wax-oiled but I assume that only covers the parts other than the chassis ?? Whilst the chassis is in great shape, I'll be having a good look once I get it up in the air. I watched a youtube clip a while back where someone was cleaning the chassis with WD40 and rags to inspect properly. Should I do that and what do you suggest as further protection from the weather ?
ii) Locking wheel nuts. Don't have any fitted, so what size do I need ??
iii) Battery charging / jumping. It's already got an Accumate conditioner connected up, wired from the front to the boot ? Haven't had the bonnet off yet, but will, but assume it connects to the existing Anderson plug. I want to get some jump leads too, so I guess I'd need to plug/unplug as and when I needed to use them (hopefully never will need to).

2. same a jeep, do a search, do you need them, how often do you leave it anywhere they could be stolen?
3. I would assume the accumate connects to the battery as does an anderson connector. as for jump leads, not sure what you are saying... Check the quality of the anderson plug, they have been the cause of fires. If you keep your jump leads in the boot or car consider how you will get them if your battery goes flat..
congrats on the car they are fantastic arent they.. Do a search on the Tuscan forum and you will find all the answers to your questions and many more.. Please remember to warm it up properly at all times and treat it with respect especially in the wet... Which one did you buy was it the chameleon green one from driven image.

During the winter months, I cleaned my chassis with swarfegga(the hand cleaning stuff) I rubed it on with my hands then wiped of with kitchen roll. I found a few rusty bits that I rubed down treated with a primer then painted it with hammerite.
I haven,t treated it with waxol but instead I am going to keep a regular check on it and repair any areas that become rusty as and when I see them.
Your car is the same age as my Cerb so I don't think you will have too much to worry about yet but no harm in getting underneath and having a good look.
Enjoy the car, I had a Tuscan before the Cerb there great cars....treat it well and it should reward.
