Getting to my Tuscan (2003 S) battery area / Alarm key fobs
Discussion
Hi All
I want to have a wee look at the battery box area to check things over, and also to see how the Accumate conditioner has been wired up (from the boot area). Also, I just want to satisfy myself on how booster cables etc connect up (would need to buy some though) and whether the Accumate will stop this.
Before I start peeling back carpet, it there a way of getting to everything from inside the car, or do I have to take a wheel off and get to it that way ?
Also, having just got the car, I'd like to replace both keys with fresh batteries. The keys themselves look and work OK, so do I just buy batteries and put them in, or will they need professional recalibrating ??
Cheers
Chris

wheel has to come off to get to battery, if you need good access anyway.
you can get the cover off and your hands / eyes to it on full lock but its a pain in the @ss!!
Think your fine replacing batteries, to be sure call Carl Baker www.tvruk.tv/, he will know without thinking.

As said above, also check the sticky (at the top of the Tuscan forum) about the Anderson connector. While you have the battery cover off give give the connector a good going over, or even buy a new one and change it to be on the safe side.
