help please

Hi, i lost the dash readout on my mk 2 's' for a couple of days and while trying to get it back by randomly pressing buttons at back of steering wheel i think i've changed some settings, for instance shift low,med & high are 3100,3200 and 3700 respectively....what should they be?, engine volume on is 100% but off is 69% and hours = 12 and mins = 30 ??? what does this all mean, no info in handbook, all the contrast and brightness settings are 100% so they've escaped my pressing i think...
any tusc 2 dash experts out there.
