Window not closing :(

Could I please have some suggestions where to start? The driver's side window is just refusing to go either up or down and is jammed halfway (the passenger side works fine)..even when I lock the car, it won't automatically close.

The diodes on the window dial work and are flashing but nothing happening?!

take the centre section that is between the seats and swap the door controllers around and see if the problems moves to the passenger window. I that does not solve the problem then you will need to start to fault find properly.

Could be the microswitch in the door mechanism; it happened to me last Sunday. With the door shut, try pushing against the door with your bodyweight to see if it triggers the microswitch. If not, try opening the door and using a screwdriver in the mechanism to trigger the microswitch.

3 checks
1. when the door is closed does it give "door open" on the pod. if so check the door microswitch
2. remover the middlesection and exchange the window ECU's (in front, under the ashtray)
3. remove the door card en exchange the window encoder (it's on the window motor)
