guys
having wanted a tuscan for years i've finally given in to temptation and bought a series 1 S with a tvr 4.3 upgrade, i've tried researching but have a few questions for those in the know
1) i've found the tyre pressures for the 16 inch wheels but what are the recommended pressures for the 18 inch wheels
2) how do you reset the trip odometer, i can't find it in the manual
3) what the the max revs for the engine, mytuscan suggests that it's 7200 but anything over this will damage the engine, so what is the safe limit? it's just the revs rise so fast....
4) how cold should the air con be, it works but is cool rather then cold, i don;t know if it just needs regassing
5) is there an easy way to get the roof in the boot, it always seems a battle and even when it feels like it's in place, sometimes the boot won;t close
6) i'm 6'3, so have pulled out the cushion to sit lower in the drivers seat, is there a better long term solution, what are the tamora seats like, i'm not planning to use it as a GT car, i have an xjr for that, but want something that gives me more feel, i have an elise and love the probax seats in that, are these possible to fit?
7) is there a single diff ratio, i know it wasn't possible but i thought the theoretical vmax as 195, but was that based on a different rear diff
sorry for the list, trust me i keep finding excuses to go for a little drive, something i haven;t done since i bought the elise years ago, i keep coming home thinking how fast the car is and then being shocked at how much further the pedal travel is and i'm not pushing the car that hard!

1) 25 psi all round is a good starting point according to TVR power. Works for me.having wanted a tuscan for years i've finally given in to temptation and bought a series 1 S with a tvr 4.3 upgrade, i've tried researching but have a few questions for those in the know

2) not sure on that one! Got to be fairly simple!
3) Think the 4.3 may be different so give Dom a call? I have my red light set to 6700 to give me a chance to change before the ECU Limit makes me jump

4) should be around 5 degrees from the outlet. Sounds like a regass needed
5)Push into the cups in the boot, then gives a little shove and it will maybe go another 4mm, gives you enough room to close the boot without fouling the boot lock mechanism
6) You can also 'trim' the Tuscan seats by taking out some of the foam from the rear upright of the seat, gives you a more secure position. Its detailed in the Graham Varley Sagaris manual (highly recommended by the way and would anser all of this). Not sure if anyones done a thread on it on here...
7) lots of different diff options, lots of threads on here bout it... http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?h=0...

so, now we need pics of your new car, and welcome to the silly grin club

5) make sure it goes in backwards i.e. opposite to the way it sits when it is fitted, when you've got it in as far as you can with it probably still slightly out of the boot, put your hands down the sides, lift the whole thing slightly (especially the bit that is now on top of the fuel tank) and it will slide back back another inch or so - the centre recess on the front lip will sit behind a peg on a plinth just behind the boot lock. Needs practice if you want to look cool in Tesco's car park
