Hi everyone,

can anyone give me a guide or point me in the direction of a guide as to how to change the front discs on a mk1 Tuscan at all?

Hi Jon,

1)You have to first remove the wheel (obviously)
2)Then remove the brake calipers...they are held on by to long bolts on the inside of the callipers they have an allan key head. Remove them might take some effort if they have been in a while.
3)Once the callipers are of there is nothing holding the disc to the wheel hub and they should just pull of, but you also may have to hit them with a rubber mallet to get them to move as again they may have become fixed/rusted over time.
4)Replace pads at the same time as the disc

My Cerbera SP6 has done 26K miles, I replaced the front pads and removed the callipers for painting the disc could have pulled of very easy. Getting the pins out that held the brake pads in place was a real effort....

Take the opportunity to upgrade to the S brakes, that's what I did and they are better.
I kept the standard rears as I was told they're better than the S's.
Combination works extremely well.
