Bleeding procedure

Hi,

I've just changed my radiator and I'm really struggling to get all of the air out of the system. Is there some kind of procedure to follow to do this properly?

Obviously there is a bleed screw at the top of the radiator, if I bleed off the air, run the car and stop it there's more! I've sqeezed all of the hoses and not sure what else to try?

When it got hot, it decided to bubble water out of the filler cap maybe it was slightly overful though

just keep doing the pipe squeezing and bleeding thing
Worked for me in the end but it is a faff

If you do 'over fill' the header tank it will spew out what it does'nt want via the cap.

Thanks, I think I've got it all out now. You do just have to persevere.
