TVR POWER wheel upgrades

Hi guys

I would like to get some feedback from those who bought the wheel upgrades from tvr power: the tvr power performance ones, and the SP12 ones.
I am especially interested on how heavy they are compared to 18" spiders.
Feel free to say whatever you want about them.

SP12's are supposed to be 30% lighter but stronger.
I hit the kerb last year when someone cut me up.
I was told that that would have buckled a spider.

Plenty have said they dont like SP12's on a Tuscan but its always personneal choice isnt it.

Spiders look best - just accept that you may have to replace one once in a while.

SP12's look dated.

'Power' wheels look good on a Sag but make the Tuscan look a little bit boy racer.

all in my personal opinion of course!

like the spiders best but they are heavy as solid rock

Seen the SP12s on a Cerbera and Tuscan and didn't like them.

The Jade wheels (black) do look good on Dom's Sagaris and I've also seen the silver ones on a Tuscan and thought the same.

I might be getting the Jade ones for mine because no matter how many times I've have my spider wheels balanced they still wobble/shake at speed even with new tyres.

Got sp12 on my race car they are very strong and can take all the abuse i can give them.

the Jade R wheels look the muts nuts giving the car that wide beefy look with their deep dish a rarety to find im modern wheels,
spiders to me look like a ford or vauxhall front wheel drive wheel designed to catch the spokes on kerbs and do not look wide or agresive to show off the with (and mark the spokes if they are laid/fall on there fronts when off the car, )
the sp12 could do with centre caps.
dont kmow about weight speak to the Power lads (horses mouth)they are verry helpfull

QUICK ONE GUYS

Dom thinkgs the best tires to go with the wheels are the yokohamas, because they are the only one that go "beyond the rim", therefore give the best looks.

Do you agree?

I know the toyo and vredstein are probably the best tyres in terms of grip, what about the yokos?

I know Yokos have a very high wear rate but my mate swears by them on his Elise.
I'm running BF Goodrich G-Force profilers on my T350 and wish I'd discovered them ages ago - great level of feel and grip though I'm yet to try them properly in the rain.
If you want Vreds I have a pair of ultrac Sessantas in 255/35/18 with less than 800 miles on them sitting in the garage if you want to make an offer and save some cash over new?

Always had Yoko's on my M3's & M5. They're not going to last as long as Goody's (or Proxes for that matter) but the grip (especially wet), handling and feedback are second to none. Especially the AVS Intermediates (so check what model you are being offered). I'm looking forward to changing to Dom's 19" in the new year and especially looking forward to getting back on Yoko's. They make Toyos feel like remoulds IMO.
