650 miles return trip to Le Mans without missing a beat. Got so much attention with the Mansell inspired livery. Awesome trip. Just a few little niggles to sort out and looking for some help:

Passenger door takes approx 5 seconds to open after you press the button and the window no longer works. It's stuck half open - this happened when I unlocked the car to unload it after arriving home. I've had this issue before and can't remember how I fixed it or if it just sorted itself out. Could be due to a lot of miles in torrential rain??

Next is the passenger side wiper packed up 2 miles from Cherbourg on the way home. Assuming this is just the linkage that needs sorting. Can anyone advise how best to sort this?

Wobbling off side head lamp - looks like it's time to upgrade to HID's!

BTW, here's some pics of the car in it's livery

Well spotted! The guy in the early 80's 911 SC behind us in the ferry queue was most offended until I told him that it's not meant for classic Porkers but aimed at my mate Nige in his 996 Turbo, at which point he suddenly agreed that it was highly amusing!

WhyTwo,

You will notice the difference if you do go down the HID's route, happy to help if you need it.

One of my girl friends went to Le Manns and she said she saw a Tiny Pigme driving a car that looks like yours.
His was falling to bits too.

Well isn't this an amazing coincidence! My drivers window decided to lower itself halfway and would not go back up. It thought the door was open when it wasn't and the door open warning came up on the pod. When locked it would close all the way, but as soon as you unlocked it the window lowered by itself.

Mine did this whilst driving back in the pissing rain so ended up getting a bit wet, but after an hour or so and the rain stopping it miraculously fixed itself.

On further investigation (the mirrors also stopped working) I managed to trace the problem to water getting into the door connector. Unplugged it, let it dry off and put some WD40 on it and it's back to normal. I'm going to spray it with silicon to keep the water out more permanently.

Ah Tuscan Chick, you've finally revealed yourself as one of my friends who came to Le Mans winding me up. There's info in your post that you could not have known otherwise. Oh and the correct spelling is pygmy

Actually, I didn't go. It was one of the girls who saw someone with a tee shirt on, saying that they were "a Tiny Pigmy".

Well she didn't as it didn't (say that). Tiny Pygmy was an expression that came out of a discussion about the t-shirt. So either your girl friend was following me around earwigging my conversations which would be a little random and coincidental seeing as 'she' doesn't know me. Or you're outed as either one of our group or having been told by one of our group which incidentally didn't contain any girls.

So who is it masquerading as 'Tuscan Chick' Nige, Colin, Ralph? Come on time you revealed your true identity

Hi Mart. Sorry I haven't got back to you. Somebody else contacted me about them shortly before you did and was due to come and collect them but due to Le Mans we haven't met up. He's currently out of the country and due to get back to me in a few days. If the deal doesn't happen I'll drop you a mail and you're more thasn welcome to them
