Just read a recent forum on the above - was told by local TVR garage its definitely an engine out job but it seems possibly not. Does anyone know a reputable TVR garage that can sort this with the engine in situ?
if time does not equal money, can be done in situ It's just hard work to get the damper off, the chain cover off and re-time everything as you put the cams and chains back With right equipment and space a good garage will take engine out every time
