Lights and wipers
Discussion
Hi All, I have question and an observation;
Question. I don't have any light from my nearside main beam. I haven't looked at it yet, but I a'm assuming the bulb has gone - are the bulbs changeable, and does anyone know what bulbs they are?
Observation. To try and combat the ususal wiper blade problems I took a punt on some of those flexible ones on ebay, and they worked really well. It still uses the old washer system, but at £8 the pair it was well worth it. They have the aero shape so that the blades stay on the screen at speed, they fit the existying wiper arm hook and I orderd them at 21" and 19" as having half the wiper sticking out past the edge of the windscreen looks daft. If anyone is interested the vendor is car-part-market and the part is VW LUPO 1998-2005 FLAT AERO WIPER BLADES 21"19"A. I have nothing to do with the vendor, it just seemed a good product at a good price,.
Added a couple of pics.

Bulbs can be changed ok,
Remove main bonnet,
and just in front of the wheel arches there are covers which are screwed in, remove and you will see the lights behind,
Remove rubber covers, then metal clasp that holds rear of light in place, and bulb assembly will just pull away , replace bulb and put back together...
Sounds easy...
