Never had this before reinstalling the engine but now everytime I wash the car I get a EFI Fault, is there a common point for water ingress?

Probably. Not that I wash mine much (every four to six months) but I have had it. Also after splashing through big puddles. Soon goes away.

Have you sealed the spark plug cover properly?

Yep its all sealed, the car doesn't misfire when it does it, just gives a warning, the plug holes getting wet make it run on about 4 cylinders, found that on a Tamora I looked over once. I'm guessing one sensor plug is taking in a bit of water, but trying to figure out which one, will plug in the laptop then wash it again.
