Speed 6 Diagnostics

Anybody in Essex area have a laptop, ecu s/w and known working diag cable that would'nt mind pugging into my car for 5 mins just to confirm Ecu is ok.
Since having a new laptop with no serial port and using a usb-serial adaptor can't seem to get online with car. Tried everything, drivers, cables and every type of config that you can try except a laptop with serial port
I was able to view all parameters until new laptop.....
Appreciate any help on this

Have you tried running the software in Win98/XP mode? Won't work with Vista. If yyou don't get anywere more than happy to plug you into mine, I'm in Coggeshall.

As I say I have tried everything I know including as you suggested win95/98 configs when setting com ports also tried slowing/speding up the baud rate and swapping usb-serial port with no joy.
Tried hashing another lead also with no joy. maybe with this hashed up lead has popped something in the controller.
If your available tomoz night would'nt mind a blast out as of to goodwood on Sat morning and would just like to check everything is ok before some serios abuse as there was some bad Afr readings due to cracked decat pipe

Something wrong with Ecu as tried a known working laptop and cable but still can't connect.
I certainly aint gonna take it out now as i don't want to upset anything else prior to weekend.

Enjoy Flashheart hope the weather stays nice coz we have Sat and Sun with camping in between. Then of to Friday practice at silverstone week friday, Just prey the car go's the distance
