Strange noise

Hello guys

I've changed my oil sender and done a service but when changing the oil filter I got a electric shock of the cable going to the starter motor.

The problem I'm having is I'm know getting the EFI warning and a strange noise come from the passages side which seems to go quiet when I turn the temp up. So if anyone could help

But that cable is insulated ! Was the ignition on at the time ? Was it a repeatable shock or just a one-off ?

it was just the once, it is insulated but the plastic clip covering two nuts came open and i just clipped it. i have had a play to day and found the noise to be coming from the two box's on the passenger side under the window. so i think it maybe a fan.

started her up and the EFI warning came on for about 2 min and then went off then came back on again.

It's the heater fan. It makes a vibrating noise at low speeds.
