I am getting a steady stream of requests for more heatsinks.
If I can get another 30 people who need heatsinks then I am happy to get another batch made.

If you could put your names on either this or the Tamora,T350,Sagaris thread then I will see what is needed.

Is there an original thread somewhere explaining what they do more precisely?

They absorb the heat transferred from the gear box to gear knob. A particular issue if running the car with cats.

There are a couple of original threads and a new one in the Tamora,T350,Sagaris forum.

I'll take one S6. Had the Tuscan for a week and had no idea quite how hot they get!

I got one off the first batch, doddle to fit took about 10 mins on the Tam. Bloody fantastic, no more 'hot nob' when sat in the traffic for ages. Just need a fix for the handbrake now...

Without wishing to be too pedantic they insulate the heat transfer rather than absorb.

But keep up the good work bow

Just fitted mine to the Tuscan - plus the 3mm spacers from Matt at S'stone Performance.
Went to Micheldever Tyres for full geo check......WOW what a difference!!

PLUS....my knob was cool to the touch dribbling through city traffic.
Pretty easy to fit - trickiest part was setting up the bracket to 'hit' the reverse light switch.

Think I'll need one if the 5 hour drive north was anything to go by. How much?

Yup, no problem, I have added you to the list on my post on the Tamora, T350, Sagaris forum.

Just need another 11 and I can get them ordered.

Anymore for anymore?

Yes please - it looks pretty straightforward for a novice who can work a spanner...

Put me down for one please.

Even though I've done about 50k in the Tuscan without one, I think I should probably preserve something of my fingerprints before there is nothing left. :-)

Thanks
