Price and collection day agreed....
Discussion
Well the time has come for her to go, I have agreed a price with a guy from Holland and its arranged for the car to be collected on Thursday night.
I took her for a run on Saturday (Not knowing it would be my last) and it went beautifully, all the niggles it once had are sorted, relentless power all the way to the top of the rev range thanks to the roller bearing throttles and new throttle pots, handling well and sliding on demand. A true mans car for big kids.
I will miss it dearly but changes at home with a new born and a new job with a stupid commute mean it just does not make sense to keep and never use.

Commiserations BGB, I'm only just getting round to fitting my roller bearing throttle bodies - remember we were doing them at the same time? My delay due entirely to a mind numbing commute of 200 miles round trip each day that includes M25, M26 & M20!
Be strong, the Speed 6 will call again.

I thought I had it bad doing 120 miles a day! Its certainly worth while doing. Changed how the car drove and got stacks more power up as the miss has completely gone.Be strong, the Speed 6 will call again.

BRG - what made u look at throttle bodies, did u have an initial p[roblem, and what improvement did u see over your standard set up?I took her for a run on Saturday (Not knowing it would be my last) and it went beautifully, all the niggles it once had are sorted, relentless power all the way to the top of the rev range thanks to the roller bearing throttles and new throttle pots, handling well and sliding on demand. Enjoy your last few hours with her!! you will miss her, and be very, very depressed as she trundles off with her new owner!! When i sold the Cerb i was well and truly gutted to leave it. I left it at TVR power to be inspected and i told them the buyer would collect, i couldnt face watching her being driven away!!!

Well thats it, its gone. I will miss it but I missed it while i still had it anyway, simply because I have not been able to use it properly for a while.
Its been trailered away and will be on its way to Holland tomorrow, the buyer will see it for the first time tomorrow night, i hope he is pleased with it, and wish him many happy miles.
He saw the add on here so I presume he is a member, I expect he will be posting up soon with the normal new TVR owner questions
