Xenons fitted by a work mate - wow! I then started ( with a dry mouth and the fear, I have the mechanical aptitude of a dead giraffe) on the LCD replacement. 3 hours later it bloody works! Well most of it ,oil temp remains at zero. Still it is the first time I have ever done any work on any car other than routine maintenance.
Many thanks to Macey again for the loan of a LCD.

well done on the LCD...when you say 'zero' - you mean the screen is blank or your not getting readings though?? Its a time consuming job but done methodically is straightforward!! Im sure now you can say you have move from dead giraffe to say...live chimp??

Pleased with the Xenons? which did you go for? One of the last things i still want to do.

Xenons from fleabay @ £59 delivered. I will post the link later today. Really pleased with the result, as everyone says this really is an essential upgrade, apparently quite simple ( so my mate who done it told me!)
Oil temp visible just remains on zero?
Car goes into Str8six in a couple of weeks so hopefully they can sort it.

Topped up the brake/clutch fluid yesterday, really do need to purchase a small child or monkey with mechanical skills, who on earth put the reservoir there!!!!!!
