Clock/time readout Mk1 dash

Gents, a bit of help please.

When I bought my car (2004 Mk1 S) I noticed the clock was not reading correctly.

The pod battery has been replaced, but despite several resets, the clock will not keep 'time'.
Is this a sign of the pod PCB starting to go west...or can anyone advise of a solution?

If you've replaced the clock battery with a new (good) battery, then I'm afraid she's definitely going west.....
