Strange non starter
Discussion
Stopped at the petrol station and filled up, got in the car and it would turn over but wouldn't fire up, I tried several times and some kind soul gave me a push to try to bump start it but nothing. I called the AA and waited 5 minutes and gave it another try, it started.
I know my Chimaera suffered the 'hot start' issue, do Tuscan's have similar issues? Mind you,I had only driven about a mile so the engine couldn't have been that warm let alone hot.
It felt like similar symptoms to a month ago when the fuel pump failed but I have had a new pump and hose fitted so can't be that and the pump primed ok. I wondered if it was the battery as it was showing 12.3. It drove home fine after that apart from the passenger door popping open when it felt like it. Bl**dy car, love it when it works but just occasionally...! Any clues?

mine has done this a few times when getting it from the garage at the end of the garden and driving it round to the front of the house, go in to get my stuff together, get back in and wont fire up, total distance of only 100mtrs so have just put it down to flooding as after a cup of tea its fine, not sure if that is any help but a mile is not far.
