Aftermarket or Spider Alloys

Hi I need a little bit of guidance i am thinking of changing the alloys on my Tuscan the current alloys came with the car mille miglia f20 special edition, i like the original spiders either in anthracite or silver but cant make my mind up, are there any other aftermarket wheels that suit the Tuscan the colour is reflex green.

This is a topic which always brings in the personel taste aspect.
I love my SP12's on my Tuscan but a lot dont.

My weapon of choice now, knowing what I know would be SP12's They eliminate the need for spacers and IMO look good. That said I have recently bought a new set of spiders which also look good. In my own defence, this was in the pre spacer era.

Spiders look best IMHO and there are unique. I don't understand why nobody ever made an improved spider wheel (stronger, lighter). I think a lot of TVR drivers would be very interested. Maybe we can form a buying group and ask a wheel manufacturer to produce a batch?

If you're more interested in what it looks like buy Spiders.

If, on the other hand, you like your TVR to drive well, buy SP12s

^^^^^^^^ They look good but as they're a larger diameter and more open being 5-spoke, it has the side effect of making the brakes look like milk bottle tops.

I've often wondered how some Jaguar XJ220 style wheels would look on a Tuscan as they use similar organic and flowing shapes to the Tuscan body shell. Something tells me they would work well. Anyone fancy doing a photoshop edit to see how they'd look?


Another style that I think would work would be the Koenigsegg style wheels?


As they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but the Tuscan look is very hard to beat with spiders due to it's unique shape.

wheels are a verry personal thing,
i prefur concave wheel to look wide and musciley, but there hard to find and clearance issues come in to play then theres the handaling fk up with offsets
.Jade type r rears look cool and would be on my listalthough i like more wheel but less unsprung weight is good. i like lambogini wheels as far as dishy goes.
My Cerbra had 18" Platingmum 5 alloys with front spacers to allow for offset and caliper clearance fited several years ago and was among the first if not the first with 18" alloys.
