Rear Screen - polish out scratches

I have just collected my rear screen from a ditch at the side of the road. (I know raceproved clips on order!), it has a few scratches, mostly ones that were there before.

What should I use to polish them out with, and are there any recommended polishing techniques? If the screen has a UV stabiliseng coating I dont want to polish that off, but a crystal clear screen would be nice.

I found that Autoglm worked very well on the screen.

And that actually removed scratches?

I have some Renovo plastic window polish for convertbles, I wonder if that will work?

Dont think SRP is abrasive so cant see how it actually got rid of any scratches, but it is very good at hiding them it has some good fillers in the polish.

Not sure on Renovo stuff either.

I would also like to know if there is anything good for this.

Now, i know it sounds daft - but i used to use brasso on watch faces?!?! would anyone dare???? Dont think i am brave enough ... but you definitely need something midly adrasvie to actually polish out the scratches...

That reminds me that I used to use toothpaste on acrylic watch crystals (can you call them crystals if they are acrylic?)

I've got some of this stuff and it worked really well on the Chims rear screen. I don't see why it wouldn't work on the Tuscans. I might try it on a little part which is out of view.

A 'group polish'?

My rear screen is scatched badly so have been looking into getting it polished, I have also found a link for some polish that is used on the plexi glass of aircraft.

Greygate Plastic polish is what we always used to use on aircraft canopies when going through basic military (aircraft) training. Lots of places to buy it from.
