Reverse switch wiring

Where does the reverse switch wiring go...from the switch on the top of the gearbox up through the hole for the gear lever ??? Or where ? To where ?

Found it

Someone had pushed it way up behind the rubber boot around the gear stick...2 pin connector with the mating end suspiciously empty of wires

Anyway, just the exhausts and starter to go back on and I can road test my new clutch and upgraded slave cyl.
