stupid german woman
Discussion
A stupid german woman ran into my car, hitting the back just under rearlight. only paint and fibreglass damage. It happened on a really big parking place with only 10 cars parked there. The good thing is that the woman came into the restautant ,where I was eating, to say she hit my car. So thats the goodnews.
Now the cars is at the paintshop to repair the damage.
But my car has the normal stonechips on the front en the normal little cracks on the main bonnet. ( cat heat).
So the little repair is now a complete paintjob.
Never park your car on a empty parking place because a stupid german woman will run into your car.
Thats the lesson for today.

Well at least you get a "free" paint job, under every cloud and all that.
Surely thats not right. The insurers will only paint the bit damaged in the accident, the op will have to pay for the restStranger things have happened

They 'could' well be convinced that the special paint needs doing all over...
When my Chim was damaged (tiny scrape) the insurance agreed to cover half cost of a front respray. As it was Rosso Pearl, and a match wasn't guaranteed, I agreed to pay the balance for whole car respray. Not a cost I had banked on before the bump, but I was chuffed to be getting the bodywork back to showroom condition, and so paid the balance happily!
I had a German woman reverse into the front end of my Chimaera in her BIG Merc a few years back.
I didnt see her and she didnt stow but a lovely old German lady who stood and watched the whole thing noted down the number of the merc.
She also pointed out that the rear bumper of the Merc seemed to fall apart while she couldnt see any marks at all on my lovely car.
She then asked me if it was a Triumph.

Hi
I'm doing all right Steven and the car is also perfect.
I went to the paint shop today, the car was ready to be sprayed. All panels were removed, smoothed out and put in primer.
Looked great from now, I can not wait for the final result. If the car is finished next week, I have to make everything neat and clean under the hood.
if that is done, the car is prettier and better than new.
Nice winter project along with some other things.
Greetings

Sounds like a TVR "triumph" over Mercedes I didnt see her and she didnt stow but a lovely old German lady who stood and watched the whole thing noted down the number of the merc.
