Not my budgie smugglers but my speedometer.

Immediately after the cold weather it developed a mind of its own. On the move it will either sit at '0' most of the time but occasionally flicker (both needle and LCD readout) to seemingly random numbers. Most interestingly while stationary it will jump to 200mph. Presumably water and the freezing temperatures have buggered something so it's off to Matt at Sebring on Wednesday but if anyone has any quick fixes in mind?

What about cleaning the toothed wheel and sensor assembly near the diff, and resetting/checking gap between sensor and wheel as a start point?
