Hi all,

Can anyone help... My MK1 has been parked up and covered in my drive for past couple weeks unfortuantly couldnt store it in the garage as normal. Its just been serviced fully and had loads spent on it at STR8 SIX in the past few weeks with a bill of around 4k! so I know it should be running sweet.

I took it out for a spin today, and the EFI Warning light has remained on all day since start up and wont cancel, the car seems to be running fine, warms up and drives as normal, however the oil pressure has read 0 all day. On start up the Pod displays the '!!WARNING!! OIL PRESSURE 0' for a second then reverts to the EFI WARNING display

Anyone had this problem before could this just be moisture in the system from being parked in the wet weather for a few days, ive never heard it to last all day of pretty much constent driving...

any help and advise would be very much appreciated...im trying not to panic at the mo..

Thanks alot!!

Well if its running ok, I suspect its a sensor fault or a disconnected wire. if STR8 Six have just done loads of work, I would give Jason a call.

ps. Its a brave man that runs an engine with oil pressure showing 0!

Mine sometimes gives an EFI fault if it gets wet.

If you just got the car from Str8 Six, I would not worry too much - at least for nothing serious. It is probably some sensor gone bananas.

Take it back to Jason to have a look, if it doesn't stop...

Whats the voltage reading showing if you can get to it? (when the engines running). Mine used to flash this when the voltage was too high due to duff alternator.

Found this could only be cleared through software and did not come back, so must have been a gremlin.

I now know that this fault shows with the adaptive maps out of range and/or sensor on the air box disconnected.

My voltage reads 13ish but can only see it before I fire the car up.. Spoke to Jason from str8six he said it shouldn't be anything, and just needs a reset, so hopefully that wil cure it.

Thanks for the advice everyone!
