hey everyone..

i have in the past dabbled with the tvr thing .. i had a chimera 4.0 that was great but leaked like nothing on earth, then a beaut of a cerb 4.5 that didnt leak but often felt kinda cold and moist inside.. you no.. like the atmosphere got in real easy... and i had to keep it garaged all the time.

question. tuscan. how do they compare from a leaky point of view. or are they the new generation that they look.

your comments appreciated tuscan owners.

nanaface.

Mine is bone dry (but then so was my Chimaera). Only time I has any leaks was in a torrential storm on the motorway, when a few dribbles came in through the door seal just above the map pocket. Haven't bothered to fix it as it only happened once, but probably just the seal needs replacing.

My Mk1 Tuscan used to leak a little.
It was due to the piece of door seal fitted on the roof section having a habit of migrating backwards.
Used to have to push it back to its correct position occasionally to stop the leak.
Mk2 boot got wet over Christmas due to damaged seal otherwise fine.

In the worst of the snow and ice, I used a stormforce cover.

The rest of the time, she's outside and on the road in rain or shine.

No water ingress at all.

I bought her as a summer toy - in fact I drive her at every opportunity now and park up the RR.

Only ever slightly in a jet wash (to be expected) or in monsoon conditions on the motorway where it dripped in a bit from the windscreen/targa roof joint. Never leaked when just left out in the rain though.
