Discussion
Can I remind members that this is a public forum , any of the many organisations who support us , offer us discounts and those magazines who give us free publicity can at anytime view our discussions.
The Committee put a lot of effort and many hours of our own time into running and promoting the club all of it on a voluntary basis and therefore expect our members to support us.
Before posting on the forum please take a moment to consider your topic , if it is likely to offend anyone please think twice before posting or replying.
Thanks
Mark

Yep, wise words guys.
Just to add another point. Its pretty easy to cause offence when you're typing words on a screen rather than talking face to face, without realising before its too late. The only advice I can offer here is to take any criticism humbly on the chin and move on - it ain't worth having a row in public which does neither the individuals or the club any favours.
That aside - the club's there for enjoying so spirits up & lets look forward to Harrogate.
Swizz...

As you can see I've withdrawn my initial posting from the Forum re Tree Hugging etc.,
I am sorry for the offence it has caused.
I took the view that this type of photo are for those who can look and say 'thank goodness someone got away from that' but I stand to be corrected, I have learnt my lesson and will not be so flippant in the future.
I will still maintain though, that a recommendation to visit a site that advertises its content as showing people being beheaded, whether it has a warning or not, is not needed on this or any other forum and it has obviously upset other people. I could say a whole lot more on this particular subject, but that would only prolong the matter and as Graham quite rightly says...Topic Now Closed
