Abingdon All Ford Rally Sunday 25 September

This annual event is being held at the Dalton Barracks, just off the A34 at Abingdon, Oxon on Sunday 25 September. Judged classes for all Fords up to 1965 and trade stands with spares for just about any Ford.

392 classic Fords entered in the judged classes and many more in the car park. Everything from a Model T to a Mach1 Mustang. There were even three Willys Coupes and a similar V12 Lincoln Town Car. Lots of impressive rods and customs although not many made it to the judging arena- more wanting to be seen than competing I guess. Super warm sunny day with the obligatory 15 minute downpour at about 13:30. I only bought a few bits & pieces but there was lots there.

Remember the last Sunday in September. 2006 will be the Silver Jubilee.
