Hi, I'm fitting a lockheed remote servo to my black Sam, but I'm unsure as to which one of the two brake line connections on the servo goes to the brakes and which one is fed from the brake fluid reservoir.

One connection is near to the main body of the servo, the other is right at the end. Is there anyone that knows? Any help much appreciated.

ahhhhh its a split braking system
so 1 pipe is front brakes other is rear
the remote servo is for single circuit brakes
if you fit it[and i would probably advise against]
follow pipes and one will split into 2 and the 2 pipes will go to the front wheels - fit it in this pipe
so then you will have servo front brakes and un servoed rears
i would advise getting front discs and the correct escort servo/master cyl combo
good luck

Hi, completely confused me there Drseg, perhaps I was not too clear in what I need to know!

My current brake system is single circuit, a single pipe out of the master cylinder feeds all 4 corners.

The remote servo is a single cct servo, so all well and good. So, am I right in thinking that I come out of the master cylinder and into one connection of the servo and out of the other servo connection to the brakes?

Problem is which is effectively the 'in' connection of the servo (from master cylinder) and which is the 'out' connection, to brakes. That's what I'm stumped with!

Thanks.

Just to let you know, I've found the fitting instructions for a lockheed remote servo on the Eagle kitcars website. They actually have the original lockheed 8 page instruction manual in pdf format.

If anyone wants this info go to: www.eaglekitcars.co.uk
