Insurance help!!

Hi people, I need some help...

Seeing as I can't insure my Jago yet I thought about getting my dad to insure it and keep it up and running instead.

I know that my dad can drive any other car because he's fully comprehensive on the Laguna, but does that still apply to a different class of vehicle and does that vehicle (i.e. the Geep) have to be insured at all? I'm assuming it does because if the coppers pull him up he's going to need some documentation to prove he can drive it?

hi donna - good idea - yes he can drive any car on his fully comp insurance BUT [and theres always a but] any car he drives must be at least 3rd party insured - have a look at the smallprint on daddys policy aint easy to follow but you'll find it in there somewhere
so specialist insurance in daddys name seems best way

Okay I'll have a look and see what kind of quotes I can get for him... I even offered to pay it for him in case he didn't like the look of it...

I've just had an idea...

If I can get at least someone to drive it, we can go on meets!!!!! Me happy.
