Light weight rain gear for the topless lovers!!
Discussion
I was having a sly look at a Robin Hood the other day and noticed that the material for the softtop was a very coarse grained flexible nylon material. It turns out that "someone in the club ( ;D Not literally?!!) makes them for half the official price..."
Bearing in mind the over whelming love of topless motoring but with an eye on the British weather is there scope for a simpler hood which might offer something like 90% protection from rain and forget the doors business.
Lighter material = less space to store the thing, easier to make on a normal sewing machine etc etc
What do people think?
Haven't given it a lot of thought but Whackman's bikini top idea and even a Scamp style thing with roll down sides could be feasible....
Please post ideas and thoughts, problems etc Thanks
