I have a delema!
My jago has steering problems and its not due to the usual bump or tow in/out problems that are normal to this wild beast.
The said Jago has been fitted with a sierra 1800 CVH (like a rocket ship!!!!). The jeep was like this when I purchased it.
The problem is that the previous owner moved the rack down by means of spacing blocks due to the lack of sump clearance.
It took a while but I now know this has done the steering geomthingy no good at all and it is this that is making jeep feel like a jeeeeeeeeeeeeeep! at anthing over 55mph.
I propose to one of two actions
1:- Jack up the 1800 lump and move the rack back to its original mounts
or ( and this is more radical )
2:- Sapcing the crossmember down and moving the rack back to its original mounts which would flatten out the tcr's giving better handling?
Any usefull coments recieved with thanks

Hi Stab........as much as I'd like to help you, I'm just not mechanically qualified to help out here. Give your question a go over on
http://jagoownersclub.proboards56.com as well. I think the majority of the Jago enthusiasts check both forums, but the Jago Owner's Club Site has so much more general info on it.
