Having totally failed to source a 14" weller I have decided to remove the entire centre from my damaged wheel and weld it into a 14" 6j rim
Only question left here, what car has 14" 6j rims as standard?
Nother poser! what are the dash switches on Jago taken from? My latest aquisition has some dash switches missing and I would like to know what car to pick as a switch donor

Have you checked out the adverts on the Transmissions web site?
www.transmissionsonline.org.uk
I think there is someone selling 14" wellers amongst other stuff on there.

Usually the dash switches are either Mk1 Escort or Mk2 Escort.
Of course some people just fitted after market switches available from most car accessory/electrical suppliers such as Europa, Stafford Vehicle Components Ltd and Vehicle Wiring Products to name a few.

I'm still stuck on the switches
the "Rocker" type switches are the same in both my Jagos, just in different places. Not sourced from Mk1 for sure - one is red and is brake fluid level warning and test if that is any use! The 2 holes in the dash to the right of the steering wheel are 1.5" high * 1" wide and 1" high * 3/8" wide (poss not a switch but a light perhaps), wires hanging out with spade connectors - it looks like the dash is origional in this Jago, the other is home made so I don't have a comparison to see what should be there and how it should be wired.
Now sorted with wheels, chassis replaced and welded, axle modified to fit - only things now missing are the mystery switches and that elusive plastic cooling fan for the 1300!

Red switch with brake warning marking is most likely Mk2 Escort.
As I say no two Jago's have the switches in the same place as the dash is just a plain moulding and folks just fit the switches where they want them.
