Aha - im on!!!! I am the proud new owner of a JAGO. Basically i want to improve it all round - seats, wheels, interior, exhaust, carpets, gearstick, dash, pedals, paint, etc etc - as much as i can. 1 bit at a time obviously especially as the army dont pay me that well whilst based here in the uk!

Im interested in getting hold of almost anything and really want to make this JAGO - 'a special'. Anything considered whether its new, secondhand, contacts, advice, phone nos, suppliers, or anything. I have noticed several useful ones on this site already - what a great start!

The Geep as it is now is not bad at all. 1989, Brown(YUK!) with very tidy hood, hard doors, and (the best part)a fully reconditioned ford 1600 x-flow - still looking like it was painted yesterday - was mid last year to be precise!

I've starting using it daily (and the geep) and it sounds great but i guess it'll have to go away for spraying 1st (any suggest somewhere localish to Andover?). Can anyone tell me where i can post pix - start to finish! Hopefully over the next few months - it'll become 'special'!!!! Better stop here as i'll be boring some people by now......zzzz

Back soon - with more -'s and !'s as i like using them as it's hard to emphasise speech in type form!!!!Bye4now!!!.....

Dave there is no new forum. Check the date (Oct 2001)of the first thread. This is the original welcome when this forum started.

Scottymac has somehow managed to add his posting to that thread rather than starting a new one.

How do i join the club? I have some old copies of transmissions that came with the Geep (no extra charge). Waiting for some quotes back for spraying it in the next few days!!!!
