Speed humps, wrong name really. The Civic has no problems due to her firm suspension. The Golf touches down every now and then.
The hump-height will vary because the roads do: work, rain, traffic etc.
A few streets from where I live they moved the humps because they damaged the cars. Great stuff . . . Well we keep on working.
The humps distract attention: how can you see a kid jumping out of the bushes with ur eyes fixe don the road before you?
What would work is a concrete square horizontal strip / fence, about 7cms high. You have to stop and crawl over it in 1st. Works at the entrance of the Kindergartens parking . . .
