My inlaws have a mondeo ghia x auto 53 Reg. We were out last night when all of a sudden dead. No warning no nothing. Called the RAC but could'nt do anything. It had no spark and would'nt even turn over. Has anyone any thoughts. It's not too much of a problem as it's covered by warrenty, but has anyone had a similar experience.

Do the radio and lights turn on? If not then it could be a dodgy connection near the battery.

All the controls lights, radio air con etc work ok. As the RAC man's laptop couldn't talk to the care, i reackon it's a dodgy ecu
