on one hand rover has failed to do anything decent since taking over and the work force still strike about pay, whilst making poor quality cars...

but on the other hand - BMW, who turned up, bought it for a £10 note, stripped all the technology and sold land rover to ford after using the designs for the X5...

hardly able to justify calling people "greedy capitalists..."

I think that just like in the playground you have to 'be one to see one' and it's hardly an insult, more a marketing comment to try to heap more dirt on rover whilst making BMW look squeeky clean.

We all know that BMW took the best bits in the mini and I believe that Ford (FOOLS) are now financially committed to using a BMW engine in the latest range rover as the cost of reworking it to fit a FORD engine would be massive.

We all know BMW screwed up the design of the 75 by insisting it was Front drive.

If I was to be offered a company car tomorrow, I'd be looking at the Rover MG range to see if anything took my fancy. (After all if someone else is paying the repair costs and depreciation why not?)

That comedian who put in the fastest lap on TG's "Star In A T*rdy Car" drives a Rover 75 so it must be a great training ground for honing your driving skills.
