I saw 2 buses on the newly opened "busway" on the west side of the city today. There were no passengers on either. That's 10.5M pounds well spent then.

I always find Edinburgh strange; Property at £300/sq ft, lots of top professional jobs, huge per capita public school concentration and a SOCIALIST council.

I watched the bus road being built and thought it would make the back way into town from the Gyle much quicker...then I realised it was just for buses. God help us!!

The same council spent thousands on installing red corners to footpaths to help the blind. Since when did the blind find red an aid to sight?

The red bits are also knobbly, so the blind can feel them. The red is a bit of a red herring, if you catch my fish.

But its another case of Edinbugh Council being the blind leading the blind.
