Radar units and speed detection
Discussion
Do the radars that police use cause cancer?
I’m not a believer in cell phones causing cancer but as I’m quite a keen electronics (analogue mainly) enthusiast. Now if I recall correctly a radar needs to broadcast quite powerful waves (so they get a decent bounce back from the automobile) at harmful wavelengths so could policemen using radars and those living nearby could be adversely effected? After all the units are on constantly because they measure for every vehicle.
Any one have any idea as to the effects?
