It seems Chevy is coming to the UK on feb 1st. Not to sell us the Corvette, but some rather dull econo-boxes. Great. Thanks for that.

Because we need more bland econoboxes?

Can they possibly imagine they can compete with the asian cars in that market?

Oh wait, just rebadged Dawhoo's - move along, nothing to see here...

Hmm. Only one there with any potential is the Dae...Chevrolet Lettuce, sorry, Lacetti - could be sporty as a 3-door and luxurious as a saloon/estate. And as for the Davros, sorry, Kalos, have you ever seen a blander car? And the Matiz? Only car to have 1/10 in the Autocar guide. Hmmm.

But they won't bother changing anything and they'll remain overpriced.

It's all GM, and Vauxhall do better cars. Wonder if this is going to create any confusion for GM in the UK - the Lettuce is going to be up against their own Astra, the Kalos will be up against the Corsa and both the Agila and the Matiz are hopeless.

Only hope for them is either cutting the prices or modifying them US-style.
