I was checking for an update in the Leicestershire press re : Murder Stinger thread and I found this gem.
----------------------------------

A banned driver desperately tried to shake off police during a dangerous high speed chase - because he did not want to be stopped while wearing a woman's dress and a wig, a court heard.

Leslie Eley drove at up to 85mph and ignored eight red traffic lights during the pursuit through Shepshed and Loughborough in the early hours of July 10.

It took two roadside stingers to bring Eley's Volvo to a dramatic halt in a cornfield, Leicester Crown Court was told.

Mark Hurd, prosecuting, said: "When he was arrested, it was apparent to the officers that he was wearing a wig as well as ladies' clothing.

"He told them he didn't want to stop because he was dressed in women's clothes."

Eley, of Ashby Road, Loughborough, was jailed for a total of 14 months and banned from driving for two years. The 36-year-old admitted dangerous driving, driving when disqualified and having no insurance.

In mitigation, Mr Allen said: He's a very mixed up person with significant emotional disturbance and an unstable personality."

"He's now motivated to address a drug problem.

The court heard Eley had numerous previous convictions for motoring offences.

So therefore all motoring offences are committed by mixed up disturbed drug addicted trannies?

I wonder if he had "I'm a little lumberjack" playing on the stereo

I see they sent him to the right place though
