Don't get stroppy with traffic wardens in North Wales -- they're about to be taught martial arts, with the aim of getting tough with aggressive motorists.

Denbighshire parking attendants have reportedly already received confrontation training, and are now to be shown how to escape from disgruntled drivers.

The council reckoned violence was not the aim of the exercise -- but it's the same body that employed an expert weightlifter to teach its bin-men how to lift bins.

Suddenly they think that traffic wardens will have the skills to handle disgruntled drivers by a martial arts course - the biggest bullshit I've every heard - if anything, it now gives us a better reason to rough them up - I can see it now - "Officer, he (warden) was a beast, tried doing all kinds of flying kicks and stuff on me, I could be in hospital if it wasnt for my torque wrench!"
