Greenpeace nuts....!
Discussion
A protest at the Land Rover factory in Solihull has ended with the arrest of 15 slightly smelly treehuggers. Around 25 members of the sandal wearing pressure group, Greenpeace, breached security at the plant in Solihull early on Monday morning. Greenpeace said the action was in protest at what it claims are the "climate-wrecking" emissions from Range Rovers, Land Rover's flagship model. A Land Rover spokesman said this was ‘ridiculous, as the emissions had been tested on baby seals, all of whom survived until they were clubbed over the head, in traditional style’. The protest came to an end after campaigners, who had handcuffed themselves to vehicles on an assembly line at the factory, were cut free by police, but only after they had been taken on a twenty minute drag around the West Midlands by workers who were miffed at the loss of their overtime.
