works on PH only, though

Rich, you make a mate by going to his profile (click the name) and press the .
In the next page you'll see your entire mate-list. Repeat as often as you want a new mate.

To view your mate-table while going browsing PH, you'll get a pop-up window by pressing the in the top bar.
The table states a blank field for not online, a for -yes- online, and a for unknown (private).
If you do not want to appear in other PHers mate-table, go to your profile page, and select the appropriate function (on the bottom).

To edit your mates-table, click Mates , again in the top bar. A fullpage mate table appears with the possibilty to bin mates (when they're getting nasty ) with the -icon.
