I heard somewhere (probably on here) that you could get the gearbox "chipped" to improve its performance.
Not sure what the inevitable drawbacks were but I'm sure there were some.
Anyone care to shed light on this myth. Hertsbiker, you used to have one of the city type smarts its the same engine and gearbox and yours was tuned/modded.

Bearing in mind it only weighs 750kgs. Thats the same as the lotus Elise. And thats over twice the price....
If this little beasty had 160hp and a sequential box and sold for about 10k then I reckon they'd have a problem making enough of them to satisfy demand.
