rumour has it there will be a 100hp brabus version

wouldn't mind one of these little things myself but I can think of a better way to spend 8 to 9 grand.

I'll give you a clue. It only has two wheels

I hope they have improved the gearbox, I once drove a Smart and it was absolute crap. I reckon I could do quicker gearchanges in an old 1957 Ford 95E Popular - I honestly don't know how they get away with it in 2002. Rich...

I heard somewhere (probably on here) that you could get the gearbox "chipped" to improve its performance.

Not sure what the inevitable drawbacks were but I'm sure there were some.

Anyone care to shed light on this myth. Hertsbiker, you used to have one of the city type smarts its the same engine and gearbox and yours was tuned/modded.
You know what I'm on about?

Bearing in mind it only weighs 750kgs. Thats the same as the lotus Elise. And thats over twice the price....

If this little beasty had 160hp and a sequential box and sold for about 10k then I reckon they'd have a problem making enough of them to satisfy demand.
From the Evo report even the handling is good

Gearbox is still shit though...

Why don't they fit it with a CVT? would suit it down to the ground.
