Do MP's pay the charges on there cars and does Ken pay for using his limo
MPs Yes, Mayor and Assembly Official cars containing Ken no, Ken doesn't pay the London Council tax payer makes that payment unless the cars are owned and operated by a registered private hire company who are exempt.
Should Ken Livingstone choose to drive his own car to work, unlikely though that scenario is, he would have to pay.

Traffic levels in Cambridge are now the same as 20 years ago. Just shows what a decent park and ride scheme can do, no need for complex cameras, just a few areas of tarmac on the edge of town.

If I were him I'd call your bluff
Don said: I wrote to MP about this. I stated that if Congestion Charging was introduced in my home town he'd lose my vote.
I can't imagine our Mr Hunter would countenance such a measure in any case. Either way, he's finished in Basingstoke at the end of this term and he'll be replaced with a new wallah, which is good news for anyone who can get his ear.. if I were you (which evidently, I am not
) I'd be copying any letters to the local party chairman. Edited to say that several times in the past three days, I've been held up by multiple cat pile-ups between my lounge and kitchen. I'm thinking of introducing a congestion charge in this zone during the hours of 7-10am and 5-11pm. I'll be exempt from the charge, but the cats will have to find some way to supplement their incomes or stay out of the zone
Edited again to remove the merest suggestion that Mrs CarZee's congestion charge would be tax deductible as she's a company vehicle..
