At Just $ 120,000 US, this thing looks very tempting. You can finally see it wihtout the disguises (revealed at Geneva this AM)...

Gallardo, I think. Reminds me of the Italdesign Cala prototype. Is it a 2+2 in Uracco mode?

I'm sure it'll be fantastic.

But it does have the look of the latest Celica.

Latest Celica? Basis for impending replica, methinks...

I was trying to decide what car it reminded me of, until I saw the rear and overhead shots of it in today's AUTOCAR. Then it became obvious it's an Edonis particularly the rear view.

Gorgeous, stunning and I waaant one. The big question is though, this or the new aston martin?

The AM provoked the same reaction from me, a quick rush to price up my internal organs for sale...

Then again Tuscans still have that affect on me...

Of course they are rather unlikely to grace my stable until 6 numbers come my way or I ever manage to overcome some minor legal obstacles in the way of my latest cunning plan to make obscene amounts of money...

Is it just me, or is there a heavy ressemblance to the Tommy Kaira ZZ-2 concept (as seen in the Gran Turismo series) or the new Ascari?

Cant see the similarities to the Edonis to be honest, that was hideous. Fast, but ugly.

In truth, like it's rather enormous sibling, this wee Lambo will undoubtedly look sensational 'in the metal.'

When I saw a Murcielago recently, I was awestruck; clever money says this will repeat the effect on those fortunate enough to visually contemplate...

It's a dribble.

Well, our local Lambo dealer here in Orlando will have the demo in by September of this year. I have already reserved a ride so will let you know what it is like in the flesh (metal, whatever)...

It's certainly good looking. Not sure where they locked the ugly stick, but I doubt it got a look in at all.

Have to agree with earlier comments tho, there's something in it that says Celica to me. I think it's the back lights for some reason.

Probably just me. It's getting late.

Front lights. They are longer and skinnier than the Mercialago's when seen head on...

The onbvious similarity at the front is that they're wider than they are tall, I agree, but the back lights clinch it for me. The way they reach up to the top and over a bit.

The latest EVO mag dropped in yesterday and studying more detailed shots of the newbie revealed even more compelling styling cues from the aforementioned Toyota.

This is, IMHO, not necessarily a good thing: I am left wondering whether design students the world over carry too much stylistic baggage in their collective subconsciences which inevitably impact [too heavily] on future designs?

I mean, the rear end of this thing looks like pure Celica.

Bring back Marcello Gandini.
